    Children in Need

Today we took part in raising money for Children in Need. We have dressed up, made and sold cakes, and had a raffle to guess the teddy's name! Thank you to all who donated cakes and money for today, all in the name of Children in Need.

Also, we are excited to announce that for the raffle, Charlotte was the winner at Churchmoor and Noah was the winner at Sherbrook - well done!

    Class of the week: U4

U4 students have been making good academic progress and developing their independence skills. Students have regularly been accessing the local community during Preparation for Adulthood, developing skills such as communication, road safety and money management. Some of our students have also been engaging with regular work experience opportunities and have received some fantastic feedback. Additionally, some students have recently completed workshops and coaching opportunities with Nottingham Forest.

As a school, we recently completed a challenge for Children in Need to complete the distance of a marathon throughout the school day, and U4 students played a big part in achieving this goal. In total, we achieved a distance of 33 miles. It was lovely to see U4 students and the wider school community working together towards achieving the same goal. Well done everyone, an incredible effort.

The majority of the class recently visited Landmarks college which was a successful trip and gave our students insight into life beyond Endeavour Academy. Students will continue to think about college options and next steps in their education journey, working alongside teachers, careers advisors and colleges.

Congratulations to our top Dojo point scores:

Declan for Churchmoor and Owen for Sherbrook - keep up the good work!

The aim of the hub is to offer support and a safe space for families who have children on the Autistic Spectrum, with or without a diagnosis. These are drop-in sessions for the whole family to enjoy, aimed at children 11 and under. Children (including siblings) can participate at their own pace with support from parents and our staff team. Parents/carers can engage in activities, or enjoy some refreshments whilst talking to other families and sharing experiences or speaking with staff for advice and support.

Next meet up: 24th November 2025, 16:30 - 18:30 at The Ashwood Centre Portland Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17 7AB
