    New school year!

Our new school year has begun and everyone has been busy getting to know their new classes, welcoming lots of new students and even some new staff members. Everyone has been getting stuck in to their new learning for this term and starting up all of our fun subjects, such as Forest School making nature weaves, and even Ice Skating!

We've also now got our new school uniform and must say, everyone is looking fantastically smart!

We're looking forward to many more exciting things to happen this year :)

    Class of the week: M1

M1 have welcomed 6 new students to the school this year and have been getting to know each other and have been very kind and understanding of each other.

Year 7 is a big year for any student but they have been taking on the year 7 subjects head on and have shown amazing Resilience.

In science, we have been using microscopes to explore what our writing looks like, and what different materials look like under the microscope. We have learnt all the different parts of a microscope, including the objective lens, and the coarse and fine focus! We will continue with our investigations and explore different plant and animal cells too!

Congratulations to our top Dojo point scorers

A big well done to Jazzy in Churchmoor, and Isaac ST in Sherbrook. Keep up the good work!

    Certificates of the week

Well done to all of Beech class for starting the year so positively and showing amazing resilience.
