Objective

1.1:  To promote and maintain the culture, ethos, vision and values of Nexus MAT & Endeavour Academy through induction and ongoing CPD offer

1.2: To work alongside the DHT’s (Quality of Education) to gather evidence, monitor progress and effectively monitor the quality of teaching and learning across the school

1.3: Ensure that ALL colleagues develop a clear understanding of development and implementation of EHC planning, annual reviews and the creation of Education Support Plans to meet pupil needs

1.4: To further enhance and develop the school environment, to create an inclusive environment, and one that is compliant with health and safety standards/legislation

1.5: To ensure that ALL systems and processes are in place for safeguarding to be judged as effective, including the completion of the Section 175 Audit and developing a robust programme of CPD that enhances colleague knowledge, skills and understanding

2.1:  To design and implement a whole school ‘Curriculum Intent’ which is inclusive, sequenced and meets the needs of our learners

2.2: To implement a broad & balanced curriculum offer that meets the needs of our learners

2.3: To develop and implement a robust, well-sequenced Maths curriculum across the school

2.4: To implement a robust, clear and carefully sequenced approach to Early Reading and ensure that colleagues are appropriately upskilled in its implementation

2.5: Through a well-planned, evidence informed CPD programme for teachers & support staff, develop and implement a ‘learning cycle’ that offers a clear & consistent approach to lesson structure

2.6: To develop/implement a middle leadership structure to further support and drive curriculum development

 

 

 

Objective

3.1: To develop and implement clear procedures and protocols that support pupils to manage their emotions/behaviour effectively

3.2: Develop and implement a Pastoral Care Team that supports and promotes the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils

3.3: Develop a range of strategies and resources that foster and promote an inclusive school environment by promoting identity development, respect and the eradication of misogynistic, sexualised or racist language

3.4: Develop and implement systems and processes that enable attendance to be effectively monitored and tracked specifically in relation to persistent absence and severe persistent absence with a tiered response & approach

3.5: Through delivery of Team Teach, further develop colleagues’ knowledge, skills and understanding of de-escalation and behaviour management techniques

 

Objective

4.1: To develop and implement a sequenced, spiralled programme for PSHE that builds on prior learning as pupils progress through school

4.2: To develop and implement a comprehensive Careers Strategy that is compliant with government careers guidance and Gatsby Benchmarks

4.3: Develop a comprehensive plan that allows the school to deliver a high-quality enrichment programme for students

4.4: To develop and implement ‘equality objectives’ that support the development of an inclusive school environment, linked to the ‘Protected Characteristics’
