Despite the less than sunny weather, our pupils have been very happily partaking in their weekly forest school lessons! Recently, pupils have been on a rescue mission to retrieve different creatures from the cold and wet, and return them home. Pupils have also been learning how to tie different knots and have used these to make their very own rope swings!

Our first full week back in M2 after the snow has been a busy and productive one. We have had some really great contributions in our Shakespeare unit for English, and some lovely confidence-building and teamwork in maths as we tackle the various ways to present data.
We have also had some really mature reflections and discussion around making good choices when responding to negative emotions. We have also seen the rise of building card towers in an effort to beat the bad weather during break times which has been both fun and developed our fine motor skills and resilience when dealing with frustration.
A big well done to Kody at Churchmoor and Alper at Sherbrook. Keep aiming high!
