Sports day!

This week we held our sports day (and thankfully the rain held off for the day)! We had lots and lots of activities, including Boccia, egg and spoon race, sprints, Joe Wicks workouts, archery and even Just Dance! We saw amazing resilience, teamwork, and competitive spirits from our students, and happy faces all round.

Well done everyone for your efforts!

Class of the week: Beech

Beech class have had an exciting and action-packed few weeks, filled with a variety of activities that have kept both students and staff smiling! From swimming lessons to outdoor adventures in Forest School, there's been no shortage of excitement.

One of the highlights was the class’s weekly swimming sessions, where the children made great progress, developing both their confidence and skills in the water. There was also plenty of  outdoor fun in Forest School, where the pupils      explored nature, lit fires and coped well with turn taking.

The class have also been celebrating the arrival of three new pupils who have settled in wonderfully and brought fresh energy to the group. Beech class have shown a true spirit of friendship and teamwork, ensuring the newcomers felt welcome from the very first day.

As always, the learning has been engaging with plenty of hands-on activities that made every lesson enjoyable. From arts and crafts to science experiments, the students have had a fantastic time while learning new skills.

What a wonderful half-term it’s been—Beech Class are already looking forward to more fun and learning in the next academic year!

Congratulations to our top Dojo point scorers:

Well done to Jaidan at Churchmoor - keep up the good work!
